Time with Nieces and Nephews, March 30

 Wesley (orange plate) and Luka came over while Leah had a dentist appointment.  I have not gotten to watch them all by myself very often, but this was a fun afternoon.  They did very well and are enjoying watching Elli. When Leah came back, we spent some time at the Greene letting the kids run and enjoy the nice weather.

Later that evening, we got to watch Aria while Jenna and Justin went on a long awaited date! She was so sweet and once again, Elli was all about caring for and playing with her.  Elli even went to put her pajamas on that looked like Aria's.
Even later that night, Kyle and meg came over for a quick visit with Seth and Rayna.  So in one day, I saw most of my nieces and nephews and super enjoyed it.  (Liam and Lillian were in South Carolina and Gloria was at the lake.)

Emma Grace turns Three

Love that Elli has such sweet friends.  I am thankful for wonderful families and sweet times together.

March Activities

 We have been working on getting the basement finished.  Brent was adding some can lights that we forgot about when the electricians came.  Drywall is now complete and Brent has been working on getting all the boxes installed.  We will paint soon.

 Elli enjoys practicing golf with Brent now.  Of course, she has to look good while doing it:)

Couldn't resist a picture with our pretty pear tree this year.  Of course it also helps to have such a pretty girl in the picture too.

Elli also has some skills in the softball area.  Her first "at bat" this spring resulted in one fast, hard hit straight into Brent's chest which caused a yelp and a welt!  And again, she has to dress the part.  In fact, while at WalMart one afternoon, she saw some pink softball gear; bat, ball, glove and helmet.  She said to Brent, "Daddy, I need those things.  They will look pretty when I wear them!"

Leah's Birthday

South Carolina March 7-11

 Some friends of Lance and Lana own goats and chickens.  We had lots of eggs while we were there.  The kids were able to feed to goats and chickens, then we all took a nice long walk through the woods on their property.  Such a nice family.  They have "adopted" Lana :)

 A trip to the park yielded lots of squeals of laughter, lots of static, and lots of fun.

 Pizza night!

 Just a glimpse of the unhealthy evening of pizza, chips, pop, oreos, and ice cream.  Glad this is a once in a while kind of meal.

The morning before we left, Liam was ready to play, play, play!  We miss them already and know it will be hard to not see them for a long time.  They head out to Germany the end of April.  Had a great time visiting. I got to snuggle and play with Liam and Lilli quite a bit.  Elli did too:)

A Visit with Gloria, Feb 27th

 They really do seem to love each other.

Winter Warmer, Feb 24th

 Heather and I "on the ship."  The annual winter warmer went very well and was a lot of fun too.

28 Cedarville girls came to help paint nails, run the parafin wax station, make smoothies, and help at inspiration island.  Great group of girls!

Date Night

Elli really wanted to spend an evening with Brent.  She chose to go to Bob Evans, go figure:)  She wanted me to take this picture like they were really leaving.  Her ideas:)

Meet Rayna Elizabeth Ferguson, Feb. 21

 4 out of 5 cousins.  We were missing Liam, and then Lillian joined the Ferguson family just 3 days later.  Such fun times in our family.

 Megan's parents got to come down on Thursday and spend almost a week.  Meg's sister Heather also came with her little girl.  We had a great weekend together.

Brent's helicopter motor quit working, so dad and Brent performed surgery on it.  Dad was able to finish it off after ordering a new motor and replacing the battery.  Serious stuff!
