Big Events

 Micah loves the exersaucer.  He is sitting so well in it, can move himself in a circle to play with all the toys, and can actually make the toys do what he wants.  Amazing he is only 4 1/2 months.

The carbon monoxide alarm was sounding when I came home from school so we left the house and called the Fire Department.  All we needed was new batteries, but I was happy they told me that instead of me guessing and being wrong.  Of course we had to document:)

Chrik or chrete is at 4:12

 Elli wrote this note on the white board on the refrigerator.  To be read as, "Trick or Treat is at 4 o'clock."  (4:12 is because the analog clock has the big hand on the 12 for o"clock)
Elli is Little Bo Peep.

 She loves to hand out candy.  Due to the storm" Sandy",  we postponed trick or treat to Saturday, Nov 3 from 4-6. It was cold and rainy so we didn't have many kids and we didn't stay out long either.

A yearly tradition is to get candy from the police officers.

 Another tradition is to make our way to Gonga and Papa's house.

 The little sheep aka bunny, showed up this year:)

 We were laughing at how many more years we were going to have of difficult pictures with our little ones.  It is still fun to try to get them all together.  We have Little Bo Peep with her sheep (bunny), chicky, and two cows.  Adorable.

We enjoyed an evening of homemade pumpkin pies, oh and roast, for dinner.  I love when we all get together.

Special Delivery?

I could not resist the sweet faces of my adorable babies.  Plus, it is pretty fun when they can do something together, like sit in a box.  The joys of childhood:)

 Just hanging out watching my mom rake some leaves.

 I do not like the taste of leaves.  Makes me pucker up.

And here is my wonderful sister.  She takes such good care of me.  I love her.

Photo Shoot of the Little Lion

 Gertting ready for his photo shoot.  Look at his little rolls.  And, he is onyl 4 1/2 months, sitting up nearly all on his own for about 30 seconds.

That drool is crazy.  It has just turned on like a faucet.  Elli's mouth is full of food in this picture.  Silly kiddos.

Happy Halloween!

 This day started with the first snow of the season.  Elli held Micah outside on the deck in the snow.

 Little pumpkin and Elli dressed up as a 50's girl for the 50th day of school.

 The chick with her parents at Trunk or Treat which had to be moved inside.  Gloria looked so cute.

Gary held both the babies for a little while.  Gloria was very interested in Micah:)

Emilee got to come with us to Trunk or Treat at AWANA.  Elli is wearing her Little Bo Peep outfit.  It was a fun night and way better than being outside in the freezing rain.

 There were lots of families there to hand out candy.  The Staley's are in this picture handing out candy to all the Sparks including Elli and Emilee.  Tracy is 38 weeks pregnant in this picture:)

Pumpkin Carving

BOO

 Micah is 4 1/2 months old.  This outfit is 7 years old:)  I bought it for Caleb Masters when he was a baby, then Elli wore it, the Madilynn, then Cody, and now Micah.  The Fergusons and Masters have gotten great use out of this cute BOO:)

Elli and I spent last evening making a new pumpkin for Trick-or Treating.  She did a great job.
We have been working on a new word, "pity."  We threw away the other pumpkin she had been using the past couple of years because it was broken.  She said, "I pity the other pumpkin."  Love using new words:)

We love our Fridays with Leah and the boys

 Elli got the playdough out.  It is messy, but pretty fun.

The boys love to have a "bite, bite!"  So, when Elli wanted some popcorn, I had two little boys in my lap waiting for their bites.  I also perfected the bribery tactic with them.  Wesley drank his milk and they both laid down to get changed with the promise of more popcorn:)

1st Grade Halloween Party

 We planned for a pumpkin hunt outside but it was cold and rainy.  So we "hid" the pumpkins inside the old gym and let the kids find the one with their name on it.  Then they all used markers and drew fun pictures and faces on them.

 Elli's had sunglasses on it.

One beautiful Fall Day, Oct 25th

 Well, Micah was just being sweet inside for a while:)

And more jumps:)  We do this each year and our pile of leaves gets bigger every year.
It was about 77 degrees so we decided to spend as much time outside as possible.  We played in the leaves, swung on swings, and then decided to go to the Pumpkin Barn one last time this season.  We got pumpkins for each of the kids in Elli's class for the Halloween Party the next day.  The next day it was only about 50 degrees and rainy, so we were really glad we could take advantage of the beautiful day.
